He was predeceased by: his parents, Genaro Castillo and Antonina Castillo (Gomez); his wife Diane; his son Jeffery; and his sisters, Maria Socorro (Angel Otero), Gloria Otero and Beatrice Marrero (Rafael).
He is survived by: his siblings, Genaro Castillo Jr. (late Ruth), Andrea Granado (late Greg), Carmen Leal (Joe) and Mary Lopez (Matt); and his brother-in-law Emilio Otero. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
