He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Doreen Washebeck (Richard), Jennette Barton, Steven Schaefer (Karen) and Kristine Schaefer; his grandchildren, Bryce (LesleyAnn), Kimber (Jake), Trina (Ryan), Derek (Melody), Leah (Justin), Molly (Andrew), Tyler, Garrett (Brigitte), Jordan, Trevor (Mirella) and Ariana; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Ethan, Colette, Milo, Kamryn, Briggs, Cora, Everett, Fern, Penelope, Pierce, Paige, Claire, Cecelia and Madeline; his sister Margie Charney (Steve); and his brother-in-law Tony Grippaldi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church and Chapel Funeral Home (380 Bluemound Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to any hospice care facility are greatly appreciated.
