“Mark was such an important part of the Contra dance. He was a great dancer, and would often come with golden jars of honey to sell, which I was always eager to buy. I even offered to host some hives, but he never took me up on the offer, nor my offer to design little jackets for the nectar of ladue bees. Mark was kind and funny, and always laughed at my (funny and also not funny) jokes. I missed him very much when he did not return after the COVID epidemic. He will be truly, truly missed.”
