It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Schmitz of Waukesha, Wisconsin, born in Brownsville, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schmitz and Martha Schmitz; his former wife Jean Schmitz (Dooley); his daughter Ann Smith (Mike); and his brother John Schmitz.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Schmitz, Jennifer Chapman (Chuck) and David Schmitz; his stepchildren, Kathleen Landolt, Thomas Landolt (Julie) and Steven Landolt (Michelle); his grandchildren, Stacie Gruse (Adam), Annie Silvia (Alex), Kelly, Kate, Sam Schmitz, Emily Wooley (Sean), Joshua, Michael, Nicholas Schmitz, Ryan, Matthew Smith, Michelle Kruckeberg (Jeremy), Bradley Falls (Chelsea), Thomas, Andrew Landolt, Tracy Peters, Kyle, Kristofer and Keri Landolt; his great grandchildren, Adley Landolt, Saxon, Maddox Peters, Anders Kruckeberg, Charlotte, Frank Gruse, Everly, Amelia Silva and Oliver Wooley; and his siblings, Carol Klamarowski, Verna Lese, Joe, Tom, Jim and Rob Schmitz. He is also survived by many other relatives and numerous friends.
