He was predeceased by: Edna Eyre, Robert, Florence and Edward Matthes. He is survived by: his wife Lori; his stepdaughters, Madeline and Emily Moore; his pets, Charlie and Cooper; his parents, Susan Martzhal (Ken) and John Eyre (Sue); his brother John; and his stepbrother Neil Zeinz.
