It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert C. Jakus of Waukesha, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Jakus and Theresa Jakus; and his brothers, Michael and Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jakus (Mattrisch); his children, Timothy Jakus (Beth) and Jody Dake (Joel); his granddaughter Lilly; and his sister Joan Johannes (Joel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
