He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bjerke and Alfina Bjerke; his grandson Erik Richard Roger Baumler; his siblings, Jerome (Myrle), Marland (Marlys), Herbert and Mavis Solem; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Myrtle Barth; and his siblings-in-law, Arlys Hexom (Charles), Roger Jacobson and Lois Smith (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Barth of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Todd Bjerke (Karen Kroll), Julie Baumler (Brian), Mark Bjerke (Jeanette) and Jeff Bjerke (Rene); his grandchildren, Ben Bjerke, Emily Bjerke-Kroll (Jimmy Chen), Amanda Kjome, John Baumler (Rachel), Dayna Bjerke, Gary Bjerke (Hannah), Adam Bjerke (Kayla), Kari Bjerke, Melanie Boulka (Robert), Stacey Semrad (Tyler) and Jeremy Bjerke; his great grandchildren, Summer, Willow, Aubrey, Sawyer, Clayton, Charlotte, Henry, Annette, Morgen, Parker, Freya, Oliver, Isla and Colter; and his siblings-in-law, Lyle Barth, Mary Barth and Jerene Jacobson.
