He was predeceased by: his parents, John Meffert and Lorraine Meffert; his parents-in-law, Bill and Alice Mack; his siblings, Roland and Carol; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Dahmen, Virgil Theis, Robert Bonjour, Kenneth Mack, Marcy Meffert, Lou Ann Bonjour and Dorothy Butterfield.
He is survived by: his wife Liz of Roxbury; his daughters, Carmen Nazario (Todd) of Tyler, TX and Jennifer Barakat (Mike) of Madison; his brother Gordon Meffert (Marilyn); his siblings-in-law, William Butterfield, Gladys Theis and Marlene Mack; his grandchildren, Nicholas Nazario (Polly), Zachary Nazario (Heather), Brooke Barakat and Samantha Barakat; and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Brooks and Olivia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (602 Everglade Dr, Madison, WI 53717). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
