With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald E. MacLeish (Waunakee, Wisconsin), born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 11, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald E. MacLeish to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dorothy MacLeish (Payne) and Kenneth C. MacLeish; and his sister Joanne Jaeckle (Gerald). He is survived by : his wife Lorie; his children, Kary Beck (Dave), Ken MacLeish (Laurie), Kris Plendl (Rich), Mike MacLeish (Marnie) and Patrick MacLeish (Peggy); and his grandchildren, Henry Beck, Steve Beck (Carolyn), Maggie Lattimore (Trent), Emily MacLeish, Patrick MacLeish, Hope Plendl, Stella Plendl, Alison MacLeish, Darby MacLeish, Jack MacLeish, Matthew Reither (Emily), Allison Bullard (Mathew), Sydnie MacLeish and Jakob MacLeish. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.

Friends wishing to honor Mick with a memorial are encouraged to donate to the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
