It is with sadness that the passing of Jim Spahn (Waunakee, Wisconsin) is shared. Jim, born on November 10, 1935, passed away on October 6, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Spahn to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Spahn and Agnes Spahn (Keller); his wife Mary Ann Rortvedt; his siblings, Doris Ripp, Stan and David; and his parents-in-law, Marvin and Pauline Rortvedt.
He is survived by: his children, Betsy Buechner (Dave), Greg Spahn (Jenny), Bill Spahn and Cheryl Carlson (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Kevin (Patti), Megan (Craig), Michelle (Justin), Jacob, Rachel, Kayla, Ashley and Tony (Becca); and his sister Jane Kaltenberg. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (209 South St, Waunakee, WI 53597). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church Cemetery (209 South St, Waunakee, WI 53597).
