He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Maly and Anna Maly (Hellenbrand); his siblings, Catherine Richmond (Mervin), Jim (Leta) and Ken (Alice); and his daughter-in-law Sharyn.

He is survived by: his significant other Ramona J Reamer (Marshall); his sons, Mike (Kris) and Dan; his grandchildren, Morgan (Khuzaima), Logan (Taylor), Amanda Fields (Bryant) and Chase; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Wade Fields, Clark and Bennett Maly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
