It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell James Cords of Waunakee, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Anthony J. "Tony" Cords and Kristie G. Cords (Gundrum); his son Bronson James; his girlfriend Danielle; his siblings, Jack, Alexis and Camilla; his grandparents, James, Patricia Cords, Gerald and Patricia Gundrum; his aunts and uncles, Curtis, Rebecca Calnin, Jeff, Mara Gundrum and Steve Gundrum; his cousins, Lucas Maertz, Isabelle Gundrum and Nikolas Gundrum; and his pet Willow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mitchell J. Cords Memorial Fund. The funds will go to a charity focused on addiction recovery to be named later in Mitchell's honor.
