He was predeceased by : his parents, Sylvia Hone Smith and Chester C. Smith; his brother Dwayne Rumpff; and his sister-in-law Betty. He is survived by : his wife Judith A. M. (Judy); his pet Toby; his children, Jessica Smith (Brandon Spurlin) and Zachary Smith (Angela); his grandchildren, Emerson and Maxim; his son Randy Smith (Cristal); his granddaughter Amelia; his son Chester Smith, Jr. (Chet) of Keystone Heights; his pet Camo; his daughter Lisa Ziegler (Dale) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Lacey Reins (Matt), Danny Ziegler (Katie), Dale Ziegler, Jr. (Jessica), Allison and Harper; his daughter Jolynn Helton; his grandchildren, Josh and Jennifer; his brother Ralph (Buzz); his nieces, Renee and Robin; his brother Bill Smith; his nephew Karl; his sister Jeri Ross (Gary); his nephews, Matt (Julie) and Rick Rumpff; his niece Jamie (Mark); and also Penelope.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
