He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Driver and Ruth Driver (Hienken); his wife Virginia Romberg; his stepson Tom Nehring; and his granddaughter Nicole Nehring.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Robert Nehring (Susan), Cynthia Thompson (Carey), Mark Nehring (Annette), Curt Nehring and Paul Nehring (Julie); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Kalwitz, Dorothy Allen, Donna Krenke, Betty Foley (Larry), Mary Ellen Fields, Jim Romberg and Gary Romberg (Linda). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
