Debra A. Olmsted Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Debra A. Olmsted (Waupaca, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Martens and Marie Martens; her brother Michael Martens; her parents-in-law, Arlyn and Ruby Olmsted; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Olmsted (Mary Lou), Jerome Olmsted and Barbara Shampers.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Olmsted; her daughters, Carli Hopf (Nic) and Taylor Cada (Matt); her grandchildren, Baylor and Baker; and her siblings, Jean Graef (Bill), John Martens, Cora Haltaufderheid (Rick), Richard Martens (Kathy) and Judy Martens. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, life-long friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM and at 7:00 PM at the A. J. Holly & Sons (526 S Main St, Waupaca, WI 54981).

In lieu of flowers, Debbie would want you to thrift something fabulous, eat dessert first, sing James Taylor at the top of your lungs, and always wear a white t-shirt (with a food stain on the chest).
