Joan Anne Purdy Obituary

The memory of Joan Anne Purdy of Waupaca, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 69, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean A. Oberrieder (Johnson) and John L. Oberrieder; her father-in-law Dallas Purdy; her sister-in-law Terri Nichols (Sarah McCullagh); and her friend Joan.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jack, Cal, Townes, Eleanor, Geneva, George, Clark and Beau; her husband Dr. Robin Keith Purdy, Sr.; her children, Robin Keith Jr. (Brittney) of Denver, Elizabeth Anne Faulkner (Luke) of Chicago, Hilary Louise Orlowski (Michael) of St. Louis and Laura Ruth McCready (Andrew) of Madison; her brothers, John Oberrieder (Marsha) and Jay Oberrieder (Cathy Yarbrough); her mother-in-law Wanda Purdy; her brothers-in-law, Todd Purdy (Kristina) and Dan Nichols; and her caregiver Joan.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Joan's memory to the ALS Association or St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Waupaca.
