He was predeceased by: his pet Dottie. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Welnick and Jamie Welnick (Olsen); his grandparents, James, Karen Olsen (Koss), Richard and Kathy Welnick (Erickson); his aunts and uncles, Holly Olsen, Brian Olsen (Natalie), Jenny Haas (Evan) and Brad Welnick (Kristen); his cousins, Owen, Cooper, Mason and Ethan Welnick; and his brothers, Wade and Sam. He is also survived by his extended family and school friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Peter Welnick Memorial Fund. The family will distribute donations to organizations that support adaptive sports and children with medical needs, continuing Peter's legacy of inclusion and opportunities for all.
