Bessie De Jager Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie De Jager of Waupun, Wisconsin, born in Friesland, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Douma and Martha Douma; and her siblings, Auke Douma, Clarence Douma, Gerrit Douma, Alice Hoffman, Dorothy Schaalma and Theresa Posthuma.
She is survived by: her husband Lambert De Jager; her children, Vivian Josephson, Evonne Ganz (Mike), Vickie De Jager, Tony De Jager (Theresa) and Robert De Jager (Linda); her brothers, Andrew Douma (Tessie) and Harvey Douma; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Douma, John De Jager (Arlene), Etta Schregardus, Gertrude Mulder and Dorothy De Jager. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
