David left this world on February 6, 2026 at the age of 60, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Earl "Squeak" Dewitz; and his brother-in-law Kevin Schulz. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Dewitz (Nitschke); his wife Mary; his son Josh Dewitz; his brothers, Mark Dewitz (Carrie Gilson) and Rodney Dewitz (Wendi Bosch); and his siblings-in-law, Sheri Darnick (Derry), Gary Sullivan (Cindy), Larry Sullivan (Gail) and Teri Schulz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
