He was predeceased by : his parents, Cornelius Jansma and Jessie Wierenga (Wierenga); his son Joel Jansma; his brothers, Jelle Jansma, Louis Jansma and Charley Jansma; and his siblings-in-law, David Hovinga, Terry Maurer and Shirley Hovinga.

He is survived by : his wife Marcia Jansma; his children, Anita Holdridge (Dan) of Pickett, Karen Diederich of Fond du Lac, Kurt Jansma (Kim) of Sioux Center, IA, Julia Walton (Alan) of Beaver Dam and Joyce Abel (Rob) of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Nick Holdridge (Terra), Alex Holdridge (Casandra), Jon Holdridge (Ashlyn Gurkowski), Erin Johnson (Matt), Allison Diederich, Caleb Diederich, Justin Jansma (Courtney), Elissa De Jong (Devin), Jesse Jansma (Emma), Levi Jansma, Colten Van Hierden (Kayla), Damon Van Hierden (Melissa Nelson), Ashley Heinen (Alex), Brienna Van Maanen (Ryan) and Shayla Graf (Marcus); his friend Jason Krajenka; his stepgrandchildren, Emily Harmer (Charlie), Owen Walton (Nicole) and Hannah Walton; his brothers, Norm Jansma (Shirley) of Waupun and Wilbert Jansma (Carol) of Waupun; and his sisters-in-law, Catherine Jansma of Waupun, Gladys Jansma of Waupun and Jane Maurer (Hovinga) of Allendale, MI.. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren with 3 "on the way"; 4 step-great-grandchildren.
