She was predeceased by: her parents, Candidus Meier and Frieda Meier (Ganz); her husband Merwyn Birkholz; her son Daryl Birkholz; her grandson Brian Bauer; and her siblings, Carl, Harold, Gerhardt, Harry, Erwin, Joseph Meier, Elizabeth Schultz and Hilda Poetter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Birkholz and Denise Bauer (Joseph); her grandchildren, Dakota Birkholz (Julie) and Robert Bauer; and her great grandchild Bennett Birkholz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Pella Lutheran Church for the roof replacement on the educational building, 315 South Madison Street, Waupun, WI 53963.
