She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Westhuis and Josephine Westhuis (Van Buren); her husband James Groy; her son-in-law John Turnes; her mother-in-law Dorothy Groy (Vankirk); and her sisters, Marilyn Westhuis and Donna Winchell (Wally).
She is survived by: her daughters, Denee Kolehmainen (Jeff), Sharonlyn Hoffman (Jay) and Jody Turnes (Korbin Putzer); her grandchildren, Shawn Turnes (Megan), Justin Turnes (Beverly Durkin), Brady Turnes, EvaJo Turnes (Alex Sobrilsky), Ryer Turnes, Sarah Warner (Jack), Tyler Kolehmainen (Kelly), Allyssa Ahlborn (Tyler), Katelyn Kolehmainen and Bella Putzer; her great grandchildren, Isaiah Lopez, Harper, Maci, Addyson Turnes, Natalie and Everett Warner; her sister Mary Holzman; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Groy, Carolyn Born (Clyde), Janice Winchell and Pherris Groy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Reformed Church (422 W Franklin St, Waupun, WI 53963). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
