He was predeceased by: his parents, George Babl and Rose Babl (Corazalla); his siblings, Kenneth, Daniel "Tito", Ronald "Buck" and Jean Carlson (Tom); and his brother-in-law Tom Gilbreath.
He is survived by: his wife Celeste Szymanski; his son Tyler Babl (Cindy Sherfinski); his sister Christine Gilbreath; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Babl, Marta Babl, Carol Shindle (Fred), Eve Keck (Jack) and Mark Szymanski (Lisa). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
