She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rau and Hattie Rau; her siblings, Henry and Joyce; and her siblings-in-law, Gordon Brown, Virginia Shipway and Orville Heinz.
She is survived by: her caregiver Chuck; her children, Debra Shipway (Gary Mussell) of Warrenville, IL, Kim Shipway of Scottsdale, AZ, Michael Shipway (Lee) of Wausau, Richard Shipway of Milwaukee and Barb Haakenson (Jim) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Patrick Shipway (Julie) of Burnsville, MN, Samantha Shipway of New Richmond, Brandon Haakenson of Tempe, AZ and Katrina Haakenson of Indianapolis, IN; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Lily Shipway; and her sister-in-law JoAnn Heinz. She is also survived by numerous nephews and a niece.
In lieu of flowers, Arleen wished for donations to be made to St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wausau.
