We announce the death of Barbara A. Pyan (Wausau, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Waraksa and Regina Waraksa (Kurszewski); her husband Duane Pyan; and her daughter Jane Jonas (Jake). She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Meyer (Peter), Connie Brodjeski (Jeffrey) and Gail Dobrzynski (Richard); and her siblings, Jerome Waraksa (Jan), Aaron Waraksa (Shelby), Darlene Baranowski, Rita Heinrich (Steve), Wayne Waraksa (Ann), Geraldine Jeske (Jay), Bill Waraksa, Dale Waraksa (Wendy), Larry Waraksa and Mary Traska. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
