He is survived by: his parents, Michael Bartelt and Kathleen Bartelt (Fenhaus); his wife Caryn Bartelt (Wurz); his children, Lucas and Jacquelyn; his brother Chris (Kandi); his nieces and nephews, Faith (Elliot), Michael, Ceceilia (Owen), Ava, Kaylynn and Sonja; his aunts and uncles, Karen (Cliff), Fred (Sally), Brian, Mary (Joe), Jim (Kathy), Brenda and Gerald; his parents-in-law, Adam and Kathy; his siblings-in-law, Denise (Josh), Richard and Daniel (Laura); and his friend Terry. He is also survived by many other close friends and family.
Monetary donations will be put towards funeral costs and college funds for his two children.
