With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Lee Breitenstein of Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clarence and Rosabelle Breitenstein; his mother Marion Larson; his former wife Betty Kislow; and his pets, Tanner and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Danette Dixon; his children, Peggy Wold (Todd), Kelly Rector (Mike), Shannon Staskiewicz (Ken) and Charles Wilson (Rachel); his grandchildren, Brooke, Dustin, Kristin, Cassidy, Cade, Alexa and Hunter; and his best furry pal Micah. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations of cash or supplies be made to the Clark County Humane Society in Dennis' name.
