D'Etta D. Kleinschmidt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of D'Etta D. Kleinschmidt in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Krahn and Loretta Krahn (Speas); her husband Gene Kleinschmidt; her grandsons, Trask Stahnke and Robert Kleinschmidt; and her siblings, Sharon Degner (Gerald 'Jerry'), Debra Prentice (Terry), Larry Krahn and Terry Krahn.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Kleinschmidt of Palm City, FL, Ann Stahnke (Randy), Dale Kleinschmidt (Rhonda) of Merrill and Jim Kleinschmidt (Kristina) of Port Orange, Florida; her siblings, Joann Benzinger (Larry) of Rothschild, Kathy Hanrahan of Merrill and Gary Krahn of Merrill; and her sisters-in-law, Darlene Schult (Orville) of Merrill, Joyce'Totsy'Kleinschmidt of Merrill and Judy Kleinschmidt. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Stephens United Church of Christ (903 E 2nd St, Merrill, WI 54452). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
