She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Halvorson and Inga Halvorson (Johnsrud); her husband Glen Kubitz; her siblings, Arnold Halvorson, Melvin Halvorson, Helen Patton, Irving Halvorson, Orvis Halvorson, Florence and Laurie Halvorson; her brothers-in-law, Richard Pliskie and Steven Swanson; her niece Julie Newmann; her nephew Robert Halvorson; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Kubitz and Marlene Kubitz.

She is survived by: her children, Deb Klein (Lloyd) and Jon Kubitz (Karen); her grandchildren, Nathan Franke (Abbie), Stephanie Larson and Brandon Kubitz; her great grandchildren, Owen Franke, Eli Franke, Tate Franke, Braxton Larson and Michael Martinson; her close friend Charles Peterlik; her sisters, Betty Pliskie, Elaine Langhoff, Christine Hager and Joann Swanson; and her siblings-in-law, Arlon Hopperdietzel and Jean Hopperdietzel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Doris' memorial to Aspirus Hospice House Foundation.
