She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ervin and Oral Ervin (McIntire); her husband Jerome Schmidt; and her siblings, Esther, Ernest, Rose, Katherine, Jenny and Waneta.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Schmidt of Irving, Rhonda White (Alvin) of Stevens Point, Jon Schmidt (Monica) of Kronenwetter, Kelly Schmidt of Marshfield and Jerome "Joe" Schmidt of Wisconsin Rapids; and her grandchildren, Tani, Christina, Katherine, Mark, Bryant, Nathan, Bernadette, Sister Jacinthe Marie, Abbe Raymond, Mariana, Brittany, Tomi, Michael, Alexander, Gregory, Mary and Ann. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Oratory (325 Grand Ave, Wausau, WI 54403). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery (1108 Rome Rd, Rubicon, WI 53078).
