He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gering and Eileen Gering (Ortbals); and his father-in-law Ronald M. Hinker. He is survived by: his children, Bradley Gering (Kaley) and Samantha Gering; his grandchildren, Brennan Monroe, Gemma and Blakely Gering; and his siblings, Greg Gering, Connie Brunell (Ron) and Cathy Foster (Mike).
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Get.
