He was predeceased by: his father Earl Helvey; his siblings, Audrey Holmes, Earl Helvey, Janice Helvey and Eunice Helvey; and his former spouses, Shirley Helvey and Wanda Helvey.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Dietrich; and his children, Lesley Borkowski (David), Randy Helvey (Barb Zahn), Kevin Helvey (Tammy), Wade Helvey, Todd Helvey, Robin Helvey (Karl Krahn), Michael Eggebrecht, Patricia Karasek (Jeff), Roman Eggebrecht (Julie) and Rick Eggebrecht (Becky). He is also survived by his spouse, his children, 23 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
