He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Welch; and his sister Tanya. He is survived by: his father Henry Welch of Wausau; his children, Wyatt and Emma; his wife Sarah; his sister Melissa Callahan (Christopher) of Merrill, WI; his parents-in-law, Scott and Debra Kufahl of Wausau, WI; his sister-in-law Jamie Everts (Eric) of Saukville, WI; Joyce Utecht of Wausau, WI, Pete of Wausau, WI and Margaret Peterson of Wausau, WI. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
