We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2026, at the age of 91, Joan Blair (Wausau, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Felten and Amanda Felten; her daughter Cynthia; her husband Ronald Samse; her sister Ruth Pedersen (Gordon); and her stepgrandchild Carley Nauman.
She is survived by: her brother Roger Felten (Dottie); her children, Jeffrey Samse (Sheryl), Cheryl Schneider (Peter) and Steven Samse (Leslie); her grandchildren, Bridget Friberg (Ryan), Michelle Schueller (Bryan), Paul Schneider (Alicia), Sam Schneider (Kim), Philip Xanatos (Becky), Leah Schneider, Owen Samse (Shosie) and Laura Samse; and her stepgrandchild Corey Nauman. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (5100 Hummingbird Rd, Wausau, WI 54401). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (152111 Tulip Ln, Wausau, WI 54401).
