He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bant and Margaret Bant (Pesko); and his siblings, James, Robert and Nancy Altman.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Peggy); his children, Barbara Brown (Michael) and Michael Bant (Jacquelyn); his grandchildren, Megan Dahlquist (Matthew), Bryan Rehwinkel (Kazia) and John Bant; his great grandchildren, Kynslei Koehler-Dahlquist and Beckett Dahlquist; and his brother Thomas Bant. He is also survived by brother-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
