He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Palutke and Christine Palutke; his wife Jan; and his grandson Sean Schwartz. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Mattson (Dan) of Prescott, WI, Jeff Palutke and Greg Palutke (Dawn) of Morrison, CO; his grandchildren, Lauren Sohre (T. J.), Zach Mattson (Ali Anderson), Dani Burmeister (Dan), Sara Rose Bolt (Derek), Jonathan Palutke (Lindsay), Cory Ohlson (Taylor), Chelsea Jaco (Steve), Tricia Unger (Kevin) and Addie Parkinson (David); and his sister Ruth Faulhaber of La Crosse, WI.. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be designated to Bethany Baptist Church, the Alzheimer's Foundation or Aspirus Cardiology, Wausau.
