John E. Sorenson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Sorenson of Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sorenson and Esther Sorenson (Johnson); his sisters, Elaine Seehafer (Gerald), Carol Przybylski (Roman) and Ruth Christiansen (Ronald); and his brothers-in-law, Edward Abt and Thomas Koppa.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Otto; and his sisters, June Abt and Karen Koppa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
