He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Smith and Lillian Smith; his wife Jenneane Smith of LaCrosse, WI; and his siblings, Leland Smith, Thomas Smith and Betty Daly.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer and Brian; his grandchildren, Shayne and Chandler; and his siblings, Avis Pings, John Smith and Julia Eiden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
