She was predeceased by: her father Bruce Carpenter; her grandparents, Hugo, Delores Carpenter, Alvin and Irma Wilde; her aunts and uncles, Joan Carpenter, Sue Wilde, Patti Wilde, Fred, Thomas Wilde and Michael Carpenter; and her cousin Andrew Wilde.
She is survived by: her mother Carla Carpenter (Wilde); and her sister Erin Yusten (Kurt). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family will be establishing a scholarship in Leigh's name.
