She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Netterlund and Avis Netterlund; and her siblings, Dawn and Leland. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Thompson of Wausau, WI; her children, Misti Joy Wery (Jim) of Menominee, MI and Brent David Thompson (Chris); her brothers, Wayne Netterlund of Karlstad, MN and Rick Netterlund (Carmen) of Wannaska, MN; and her grandson Caleb Wery of Menominee, MI. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

For the past 10 months, she had suffered the effects of Alzheimer's, two falls which resulted in breaking both hips, as well as numerous seizures.
