With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael J. Sydow of Wausau, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Michael left this world on November 13, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Slim" Sydow and Margaret Sydow; his siblings, Roger Sydow and Diana Nickel (Donald); and his brothers-in-law, Ray Sarlot, Lewis Emmons and Ken Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Sydow; his children, Jonathan Sydow (Angie) and Sarah Stoesz (Alex); his grandchildren, Hazel, Michael, Sylvan, Arlo and Matthew; his siblings, Sally Sarlot, Lynda Emmons, Jim Sydow (Pam) and Mary Fisher; and his sister-in-law Jean Sydow.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Homes and Crematory (1302 N 6th St, Wausau, WI 54403). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Learn Build Fly, The Grand Theater's Second Century Fund, or both.
