He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Simonar and Albina Simonar (Suidzinski); his sister Patricia VandeHei; his brother-in-law Gerald VandeHei; and his sons-in-law, Bruce Ramsay and Barry Collins II.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Simonar (Yunk); his children, Jeanne Ramsay of Vail, AZ, Bradley Simonar (Gail) of Schofield, WI, William Simonar (Ceceila) of Vail, AZ, Paula Mattmiller (Timothy) of Rosholt, WI, Neil Simonar (Deb) of Green Bay, WI and Kimberly Dwan-Collins of Chicago, IL.; his brother Thomas Simonar (Bonnie) of DePere, WI; and his grandchildren, Justin, Brooke, Ryan, Shannon, Amanda, Thomas, Melissa and Ashley. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of North Central Wisconsin.
