He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hermel and Esther Hermel (Meyer). He is survived by: his wife Cindy Bowe; his daughters, Nichol Hermel (Marc Puyleart) and Natalie Pomranke (Corey); his grandchildren, Everett and Grey Pomranke; and his brothers, Loel Hermel (Betty) and Scott Hermel (Janet).
