It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Schroeder of Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard A. Schroeder to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Schroeder and Margaret Schroeder (Hahn); his siblings, Margaret Ann "Tootie" and Allan; and his sister-in-law Joanne Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Schroeder; his children, Todd Schroeder (Jane), Troy Schroeder (Tammy), Ted Schroeder (Michelle) and Tiffany Knopow (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Adam Schroeder (Andi), Bradley Schroeder, Corwin Schroeder, Griffin Schroeder (Amancer), Willow Schroeder, Hudson and Hazel Knopow; his great grandchild Mason Schroeder; and his siblings-in-law, Elroy Zastrow (Sharon), Arlin Zastrow, Donna Kuhfal, Kathy Wistrom and Vicki Deckert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Homes and Crematory (1302 N 6th St, Wausau, WI 54403). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
