He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Sue Broderick; his brother Douglas Thiele; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Thiele, Lois Buehring and Adrian Broderick Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Troy and Shawn Thiele (Alecia) of Platteville, WI; his grandchildren, Colin, Natalie and Troy Thiele (Lissa) of San Jose, CA; his great grandchild Skyler; and his brothers, Leroy Thiele (Elaine) and Dan Thiele (Holly).
