She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Babcock and Eleanor Babcock; her son David Carlson; her sister Peggy Slack; and her great grandchild Matilda Carlson.

She is survived by: her husband Ramert; her children, Bob Carlson (Deb) of Kiel, Susan Carlson of Chanhassen, Mike Carlson (Carolyn) of Eau Claire and Rick Carlson (Terri) of New Berlin; her grandchildren, Sara Carlson, Dan Carlson (Kellie), Anna Carlson (Brett Petrie), Catie Carlson-Prueher (Allen Prueher), Emily Carlson, Ashley Carlson, Megan Littel (Ethan), Alex Carlson and Jacob Carlson; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Carter and Sullivan Carlson; and her sister Carol Collins (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials go to St John's Episcopal Church in Wausau, WI.
