Stephen Moede Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Moede (Wausau, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Kerry Moede; and his father Gerald Moede. He is survived by: his wife Karen Larson; his children, Marlaine Moede (Lazarus German) and Garritt Moede (Gianna Lucci); his mother Elizabeth Moede; his siblings, Mark Moede (Mary White) and Michèle Moede; his stepchildren, Kara Larson Seiffert (David Seiffert), Grant Larson (Michelle) and Greg Larson; and his stepgrandchildren, Brayden, Natalie, Leah and Leighton. He is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and brothers/sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church (709 Weston Ave, Wausau, WI 54403). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Public Radio, Hart Equine Therapeutic Center (in Auburndale, Wis.) and the American Cancer Society.
