He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Meeker and Lucy Meeker (Knauss); his brothers, Bob and Tom Meeker; his parents-in-law, Sgt. John Hasko, Georgene Hasko-Lang and Charlie Lang; his son Troy Meeker; his grandson Evan Jay Krueger; his stepsiblings, Floyd Jr., Bill, Gene and Marriam Meeker; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Hasko, Gregory Wittke and David Stuart; and his close friend Cassie Jo Lassie.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hasko; his stepchildren, Jason Krueger (Annette) of Escanaba, MI, John Krueger (Sheila) of Escanaba, MI and Nichole Adams of Quinnesec, MI.; his grandchildren, Courage Krueger (Peyton) of San Antonio, TX, Isabella Adams of Quinnesec, MI, Aaron Anzalone, Cade Krueger, Parker Krueger, Cecilia Jean Krueger and Karter Springstroth; his great grandchild Evergreen Twarogowski of Escanaba, MI; his siblings, Mary Pratt of Bowling Green, OH, John Meeker of Deshler, OH, Sue Meeker of Toledo, OH, Tim Meeker (Deanna) of Portage, OH and Rose Loftis of Beaumont, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Anan Meeker of Blaine, KY, Vicky Hasko (Juliette Farrar), Cynthia Wittke-Jones (Casey), Lisa Stuart and Randy Hasko of Wausau, WI.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ascend Funeral Home & Cremation Care (2809 Jelinek Ave, Weston, WI 54476). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM and at 12:30 PM at the same location.
