He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Grimes (McHugh) and Earl Grimes. He is survived by: his wife Lynn (Zabel); his children, Danielle (Steve), Shawn (Tracy), Patrick (Gabrielle) and Ryan (Angela); his sister Patricia Sitzberger (Howard); his half-siblings, Gerry and Jean; and his grandchildren, Kathryn, Owen, Gabriel, Celia, Alexander, Christopher and Michael.
