He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Aird and Katherine Aird (Empey); his former wife Rosemary Hansen; his wife Sylvia Rapolz; and his sister Kathleen.
He is survived by: his children, Charlene and Todd; his stepchildren, Darryl Rapolz and Diana Rapolz; his grandchildren, Tyler and Jessica; and his siblings, Doug, Allen and Cheryl.
